P. rotundatus Brongniart, 1810, which Férussac listed in synonymy, is a homonym of P. rotundatus Poiret, 1801 and thus invalid too. The next available name is P. goniobasis Sandberger, 1871, introduced as a replacement name for P. rotundatus Brongniart. [details]
