Note Given as "Vercin", which was not found....
Type locality Given as "Vercin", which was not found. Considering that Cossmann also cited the locality Hérouval, the name might be a misspelling of "Vexin", an area NW of Paris and close to that locality. Alternatively, it could be a misspelling of "Mercin" (Mercin-et-Vaux in full), in Dep. Aisne, as implied by Wenz (1929). Age: Cuisian, late Ypresian, early Eocene.
