Status The work by Youluo [= "Editorial Board"] (1978) was published by a group of authors, but no individuals are identified as authors of the publication, specific sections or the new taxa. According to ICZN Art. 14, names published anonymously after 1950 are not available. The subgenus was also referred to by B.-Y. Huang (1983), Yu (1983) and S.-L. Huang (1987), but they did not designate a type species (Youlou 1978 designated P. sinensis as type), hence the name is not available from these publications either. [details]

Classification The classification in the genus Paladilhia is highly doubtful. That genus belongs in the family Moitessieriidae, members of which are found exclusively in subterranean waters and thus hardly fossilize. Also, the family is known from Europe only. [details]
