Description Shell up to 8 cm, with tall spire, moderately wide siphonal canal and the typical posterior notch in the outer lip. Colour light brown, with a dense pattern of darker dots and a double, white and black banded cord below the sutures. A perture pale. Habitat: shallow coral rubble and sand. Distribution: W Indian Ocean, Red Sea to W Pacific Ocean. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
