Type material Types: Syntypes of P. umbilicatus are dispersed among three separate lots kept in ZMUC: No. GAS-591 (2 specimens) from “Dania” [Denmark] labelled “Specimina original. O. Mülleri”, No. GAS-574 (8 specimens), and No. GAS-592 (2 specimens), the two last mentioned lots are from the collection of Fabricius, no exact locality given. Three specimens of this species probably received from Müller and stored in the LSL collection together with Helix planorbis Linnaeus 1758 were reported by Kennard & Woodward [1920]. [details]
