Status The species is based only on apertural fragments found at Bekića vrelo [= Bekići spring in Čremušnica, Croatia; probably Sarmatian]. The fragments show a broad and reflected peristome and distinct growth lines; the curvature of the final whorl suggests a large diameter. Boettger & Wenz (1921: 18) and Wenz (1923: 497) considered the species to belong to Galactochilus. Lueger (1981) considered it a nomen dubium and synonymized it with Galactochilus leobersdorfensis [now Agalactochilus leobersdorfensis]. Neither any generic classification nor the species-level delimitation from other large helicoids is well supported. [details]
