Breadth of specimens similar (left 13.2mm, right 14.7mm), but right specimen has much higher (14.1mm) “beehive” profile than the one on the left (9.6mm high). Menai Strait, Wales. February 2014. Northern morph of species; markedly different from southern morph which occurs from Basque coast southwards (excepting Galicia, where some northern features reappear).
