Synonymy Sha et al. (2006) included Martinson's (1982) record of that species in synonymy of Unio longus (Zhu, 1976), discussing that the illustrated specimens fall well within the morphological range of that species. However, the species was described earlier and would have priority over Unio longus in case of synonymy (which was explicitly established in Sha et al. 2006). Revision required! [details]
