Synonymy Deianira bicarinata Stoliczka, 1860 is a secondary homonym of Rotella bicarinata Zekeli, 1852. Also, both taxa were considered synonymous by Stoliczka (1866). Already Stoliczka (1860) considered this possibility, stating that "this species [his new one] might fall together with Rotella bicarinata Zek., but it cannot be said with certainty". [details]
