Classification Systematic classification uncertain: Hrubesch (1965) placed the genus in the Diplommatininae (Cyclophoroidea) but considered it an ancestor of "Elektrea" [= Electrea Klebs, 1886], which is currently classified in the Cochlostomatinae (Megalomastomatidae). [details]
