Synonymy The shell of the holotype of Limnaea cor is virtually identical to Lymnaeus tener Küster, 1862. Most probably, the two taxonomic names were applied to the same species. [details]Type locality Type locality: Iraq, the lower Eupharets, in a marsh five miles north of Samara. [details]
