Type locality The name refers to Leira, a fictional goddess of illusion and mist, from the Faerûnian pantheon of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. This epithet, thus, also alludes to the type locality, the city of Brumado, which means “misty” in Portuguese [details]
