Original description Pan (1979) referred to Yü & Pan (1980, apparently in press back then) for the first description of the species, but she provided a description and illustrations and made the name available. It should be noted that the two works refer to different specimens from different regions (Anhui, Zhejiang) and stratigraphic formations (both late Early Cretaceous). [details]
