Validity Popova (1981) considered Radix grabaui var. sibirica Martinson, 1954 to belong in Lymnaea (Peregriana). As such, the taxon would be a secondary homonym of Limnaea truncatula var. sibirica Westerlund, 1885, and she introduced Lymnaea (Peregriana) peregra bajandaica as replacement name. However, Westerlund's (1885) taxon is presently combined with Galba. Following ICZN Art. 59.4., the replaced name is to be reinstated. The validity and classification of Martinson's taxon remain nonetheless uncertain. [details]
