Status According to Wenz (1940), Oppenheimiella is based on a misidentified type species. Oppenheimiella resurrecta [sic] (Oppenheim, 1890) sensu Pfeffer (1930) is a misidentification of the early whorls of Gibbulinella simplex (F. Sandberger, 1870). Note that G. simplex is invalid as a junior primary homonym of Pupa simplex Gould, 1840 (see Gibbulinella sandbergeri Harzhauser & Neubauer, 2021). [details]
