Status Ranked as subspecies of Azeca tridentiformis (Gottschick, 1920) by Wenz (1923), which is invalid because Gaál's species was described earlier (note that Wenz was apparently unaware of the original Hungarian text, which appeared in 1910, while the German translation appeared in 1911).
