Status Permanently invalid as a junior homonym of Succinea elegans Risso, 1826. Moreover, according to Yen (1943), the taxon includes at least two previously described species, Radix plicatulus (Benson) and Succinea chinensis erythozona Ancey. Zhu (1995) re-combined it as Galba elegans without discussion. Revision required! [details]
