Status Schlickum (1941) stated that Noulet's species cannot be properly recognized nor described and treated it (incorrectly) as a nomen nudum. Nonetheless, he listed the taxon tentatively in synonymy of his Hyriopsis hannae Modell, 1941. He also noted the homonymy with Unio anodontoides I. Lea, 1831, but his species is clearly not intended as a replacement name. [details]
