Additional information Harzhauser & Mandic (2010) attributed the species authority to Fuchs (1870), who had actually just listed Barbot de Marny's species. Brusina (1893) considered Fuchs' record a misidentification and synonymized it with D. auricularis Fuchs, 1870. [details]
