Synonymy Partly synonym of Musculiopsis fuxinensis (Z.-W. Gu & S.-X. Wen, 1976) and Musculiopsis yixianensis (Z.-W. Gu, 1976) according to Jiang et al. (2007). They referred the holotype (Gu 1976, pl. 100, fig. 7) to the latter species. [details]
