Status Grimm et al. (2014) indicated the original description to derive from Boistel (1894), but there the name appeared only as a nomen nudum. It is not available from Grimm et al. (2014) either, since no type was fixed. Moreover, if it were available, the name would be invalid as a junior homonym of Helix minor Férussac, 1821 (and many others). [details]
