Type species Bandel fixed Cerithium lateplicatum Klipstein, 1843, as the type species, but Pieroni et al. (2021, Acta Pal. Pol 66: 196) considered that he had misidentified his material, which they described as Camponaxis bandeli and fixed as the type species of Camponaxis under Art. 70.3. [details]
