Status Martinson (1961) based his record on "Cyrena sibirica Rammelmeyer" and referred to Rammelmeyer (1940, p. 408, pl. 1, fig. 17). However, Rammelmeyer had clearly referred this material to "Cyrena cf. sibirica Tchern." [= Ferganoconcha sibirica Chernychev, 1937]. As such, the species is not separately available because it was never formally introduced, neither by Rammelmeyer nor Martinson; it needs a new name. [details]
