Nomenclature Junior homonym of Unio pinguis I. Lea, 1857. Rhombunio sandbergeri Wenz, 1922 is a replacement name but itself a junior secondary homonym of Unio sandbergeri Neumayr, 1875, both of which are presently attributed to the genus Potomida. Modell (1950) introduced Potomida littoralis eyerdami as replacement name. [details]
