Spelling Wenz (1922) used two different spellings of the species, kaiseri and kayseri. Although not explicitly stated, the species is certainly named after the geologist Friedrich Wilhelm Erich Kaiser, who published on the geology of the Vogelsberg, hence the correct spelling is deemed to be kaiseri.
