Status Taxon not found in the literature of the 20th and 21st century. Also, the name is invalid as a junior homonym of Helix depressa Montagu, 1803, nec Grateloup, 1828, nec Eichwald, 1830. Bouillet was even aware of Grateloup's name, but stated (in a footnote on p. 601, translated from French): "I don't know if our two species are alike; mine is bigger." [details]
