Homonymy Invalid: junior homonym of Pecten ornatus Lamarck, 1819. D'Orbigny (1850) introduced Pecten subornatus as replacement name. Later, Deshayes (1861) considered that name to be too confusing (!) and proposed a new one, Pecten prevosti (which accordingly is a junior objective synonym of Pecten subornatus). [details]
