Status Betekhtina & Gorelova (1978) indicated the species as new in the plate caption. However, no description was supplied, rendering the name a nomen nudum. Also, in the text (p. 25), the same figure was referred to as "Mrassiellina tankaensis (Bet.)", probably a new combination of Anthraconauta tankaensis Betekhtina, 1966. [details]
