Fossil range Age uncertain - reported from the "Effuzivno-tuffitovoy svity" (effusive-tuffite formation), which Lyutkevich (1951, p. 30) himself considered late Tatarian, hence late Middle Permian or Late Permian. Later works (e.g. Kazakov et al. 2002, Triasovaya sistema, p. 85, who also mentions Lyutkevich's assessment) consider these tuffs mostly as earliest Triassic (Induan), although volcanic deposition started already in the latest Permian. Considering the Paleozoic type fauna and the species turnover reported for the Tunguska Basin (Davydov & Karasev 2021, Front. Earth Sci.), a latest Permian age is most likely. [details]
