Authority Weinkauff (1881: 59-60) largely copied Deshayes (1863: 62), but the latter simply stated that his R. mohrensterni belonged to the “groupe des Cochlearella”, i.e., to a group that includes Rissoina cochlearella (Lamarck, 1804), without explicitly stating that "Cochlearella" attained (sub)generic status. Therefore, Deshayes does not seem to be the author, although the ICZN Code does not provide clarity in this case.
