Status Given by Phillips (1829, p. 130), whereas in other instances he used the spellings "tornatilis". Ferrari et al. (2015)...  
Status Given by Phillips (1829, p. 130), whereas in other instances he used the spellings "tornatilis". Ferrari et al. (2015) fixed the spelling, selecting the latter one. Note that otherwise the name would be a junior homonym of Trochus tornatus Röding, 1798. [details]
