Nomenclature The name Kentrodoris is usually dated from 1876 which is the date of Bergh's text; however, the name was first made available in 1874 by its association with an illustration on plate 33. This makes Kentrodoris a senior synonym of Jorunna. However, the latter name is in current use, and this usage is reflected in WoRMS pending a decision of the ICZN. [details]
