A compact, heavy shell, up to 2 cm, covered in large, rounded, brown-black nodules on white background; body whorl with six rows of nodules; outer lip toothed. Aperture dark; columella and outer lip white. Habitat: on or under rocks in the eulittoral zone. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
