Description Thick, heavy shell, up to 3 cm, with moderate sutures between rounded whorls. Prominent, large columellar tooth and numerous smaller knobs on inner edge of outer lip. Dark to pale brown, with spiralled dashes of cream or pink, apeture pearly. Habitat: on or under rocks and coral in the lower eulittoral zone. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
