Nomenclature Proposed as a replacement name for Conotrochus Pilsbry, 1889 but the type species chosen by Iredale is not consistent with the type species of Conotrochus as designated by Cossmann (1918), namely Trochus mariei Fischer, 1886. The latter is referable to Pagodatrochus Herbert, 1989. Solariella tragema Melvill & Standen, 1896 was not a species originally included in Conotrochus. [details]
