Five taxa including one new genus and three new species, are described from marine sequences of the Permian-Triassic Téremba Group and Baie de St Vincent Group of west coast New Caledonia. Taxa described include a conulariid, Paraconularia caledonica sp. nov. and a bivalve Trabeculatia trabeculum (Waterhouse) of Late Permian age and a brachiopod Psioidiella parisi sp.nov., a bivalve Ouamouia grantmackiei gen. et sp.nov. and an indeterminate plesiosaur of Late Triassic age. Recognition of most of these taxa from sequences in both New Caledonia and New Zealand strengthens faunal and biostratigraphic correlations between the two.
