Type species Inaba & Torigoe (2004, Bulletin of the Nishinomiya Shell Museum, 3: 42) have argued that Harry had misidentified Ostrea cucullina, and that in fact Ostrea subucula Jousseaume in Lamy, 1925, was meant. A type species should be fixed under Art. 70.3. [details]
