(2019) wrote: "Probably, the French species Paludestrina arenarum Bourguignat, 1876, P. leneumicra Bourguignat, 1876, P. paludinelliformis Bourguignat, 1876, and Ventrosia cissana Radoman, 1977, which have been listed for the Black Sea Basin (Anistratenko 1991, Anistratenko and Prisyazhniuk 1992, Anistratenko et al. 2011), are junior synonyms or misidentifications of this species [of Ecrobia grimmi]". Those names have never been used in relation to France, or anywhere except in Ukrainian literature. [details]
