Nomenclature The name "Montereina" has been used by Dayrat (2010) for "all the species that belong to the metaphyletic group at the base of Discodorididae", as an alternative to naming a new genus for every species. This option was taken in order to comply with the principles of a phylogenetic nomenclature.
