Nomenclature Replacement name [pars] for Pyrula ficoides Lamarck, 1822, a junior secondary homonym of Bulla ficoides Brocchi, 1814. Sismonda (1847:37) refers to Lamarck's species via the second edition of the "Animaux sans vertèbres" of Deshayes & Milne-Edwards, and includes (in error) a reference to Kiener which illustrates the recent species commonly referred to as Ficus ficus (Linnaeus, 1758) [details]
