In Op. 777 the name Eolis aurantiaca Alder & Hancock, 1851 was rejected [details] Synonymy There is recently suggested that Eolis gymnota Couthouy, 1838 (William & Gosliner, 1979; Schmekel & Portmann, 1982) is an senior synonym of Eolis aurantia.
