Taxonomic remark Taxonomy: Akramowski [1976] believed that P. sieversi is a subspecies of P. planorbis. Glöer & Pešič [2010] reported...
Taxonomic remark Taxonomy: Akramowski [1976] believed that P. sieversi is a subspecies of P. planorbis. Glöer & Pešič [2010] reported that the syntype of P. sieversi is virtually identical to shells of P. intermixtus but the absence of data on the anatomical structure of the former makes it impossible to judge on its identity definitely. In this case, P. sieversi may become the senior synonym of P. intermixtus Mousson, 1873 [details]
