Status Martinson (1954, 1961) recombined the taxon with the genus Hippeutis. However, Popova (1981) considered Martinson's records misidentifications and introduced a new species, Segmentina? (Hippeutis?) bajandaica. Finally, the name is a junior homonym of Planorbis minutus Serres, 1829. Revision required! [details]
