Description Oval and very flattened, up to 15 cm long. Well camouflaged by colouration of mottled creams, beiges, browns, and/or greys....
Description Oval and very flattened, up to 15 cm long. Well camouflaged by colouration of mottled creams, beiges, browns, and/or greys. Darker brown blotches have a tendency to be symmetrically arranged either side of the midline. The ventral surface is cream or grey with a concentration of brown spots down the middle of the foot. The edges of the mantle are easily shed when the animal is disturbed. Habitat: adhering to the underside of stones and rocks in the eulittoral and shallow sublittoral. Distribution: W Indian Ocean.
