Synonymy Nevesskaja (2007) indicated the subspecies to be partly and tentatively a synonym of Didacna lindleyi Fedorov, 1948 ["?Didacna lindeyi derupta: Popov, 1983 (partim), pl. 5, figs. 2, 5, and 6"]. This does not include the holotype (illustrated in Popov 1983, pl. 4, fig. 15). Nevesskaja did not specify the status of the holotype or the remaining material.
