Synonymy Svitoch (1967) considered Didacna pallasi Pravoslavlev, 1939 and D. pallasi var. angulata as synonyms of Didacna subpyramidata Pravoslavlev, 1939. Yanina (2005) listed Didacna pallasi as a valid species, but she did not treat the variety. Nevesskaja (2007) listed Didacna pallasi as a synonym of Didacna subpyramidata Pravoslavlev, 1939. She did not mention the variety but included Svitoch's entire record in the synonymy list. [details]
