Classification Meyer (2003) classified this species as Adusta pulchella; in Meyer (2004) he reported new molecular data that contradicted that placement and put it instead in Contradusta, a genus he named in 2003 for C. walkeri and C. bregeriana. Meyer overlooked the older genus name Ficadusta, which is used here for C. pulchella and C. barclayi, which were sister species in his 2004 analysis. [details]
